In today’s fast-moving business environment, creating surveys, quizzes, live sessions, and collecting meaningful feedback requires speed and simplicity. However, many teams still rely on multiple disconnected tools to engage their audiences. This fragmented approach creates friction, slows workflows, and ultimately delays confident, data-driven decision-making.
FormAI changes that. It's a unified platform built around three experience types — surveys, quizzes, and live sessions — where you generate any of them from a plain-language prompt, refine every question with a conversational AI assistant, and brand each form with custom or AI-generated themes. Surveys and async quizzes ship in today's beta; live sessions land in Q2 2026. No developer required. No tool switching. One canvas. One workflow.
Today (May 4, 2026) we’re thrilled to announce the public beta launch of FormAI! Join today and help us redefine the future of AI-powered forms.
What's shipped at launch vs. coming soon. Today's beta includes: AI form generation from a prompt, a conversational AI assistant that edits and refines existing forms (clarity, bias detection, tone), the full survey builder with all listed question types, scored quizzes with timing and leaderboards, custom themes plus an AI theme generator, form publishing with embed and QR codes, and team workspaces with role-based access — free, with unlimited forms and unlimited responses. The following are on our post-launch roadmap and not available at launch: live host-led sessions (Kahoot-style real-time hosting, host controls, live audience interactivity), AI analytics (dashboards, AI report generation, sentiment, theme detection, anomaly detection, suggested follow-ups, real-time AI analysis), all integrations (Zapier, Slack, webhooks, etc.), all data exports (CSV, JSON, PDF), payment collection, conditional/branching logic, and a pre-built template gallery (today, jump-start via AI generation). We'll roll these out across Q2–Q3 2026—see the roadmap below.
Most teams switch between three to five different tools to accomplish what FormAI does in one platform:

This fragmentation creates hidden costs:
FormAI consolidates the entire feedback and engagement workflow into a single, intuitive platform. You spend less time managing tools and more time understanding your audience.
FormAI is an AI-powered platform built for teams that need to collect data, train audiences, and turn responses into insights—faster and more efficiently than traditional tools.
In technical terms: FormAI is an AI-native platform for building three experience types — surveys, quizzes, and live sessions — from natural language, refining them through a conversational assistant, and publishing them as branded, hosted experiences.
In practical terms: Think of it as Typeform (surveys) and Kahoot (live quizzes and games) collapsed into one AI-native canvas. The assistant writes, edits, and rephrases for you; the same builder produces opinion surveys, scored quizzes with leaderboards, and (in Q2 2026) live host-led sessions. Today's beta ships surveys and async quizzes; live host-led sessions follow next quarter.
Key differentiators:
With FormAI, you build surveys, scored quizzes, and live sessions from the same canvas, then publish each one as a hosted page, embedded widget, or QR code.
What this means:
No separate builders. One design, unlimited reach.
Beyond opinion surveys, FormAI ships a full quiz format from the same builder:
Real-world example: A sales-enablement lead drops a 10-question product-knowledge quiz into onboarding, brands it with the company theme via the AI theme generator, shares the link with 50 new reps, and reviews the leaderboard once the cohort has completed it.
Today's quizzes run async — each participant takes the quiz on their own clock and the leaderboard fills in as scores arrive. Live host-led quizzes follow in Q2 2026 (see next section).
The third FormAI experience type is live sessions — Kahoot-style real-time hosting where a presenter drives the pace and participants follow along on their devices. Live sessions are the next major capability launch (Q2 2026) and will include:
The vision in practice: Train 50 new sales reps in a single live session. Present slides, run scored quizzes between sections, and watch comprehension data update in real time — so trainers can adapt instantly and ensure everyone masters the material.
Live sessions are not available in the May 4, 2026 beta. Today, you can already build the underlying form (survey or quiz) and brand it — when live hosting ships in Q2, the same forms become host-ready with no rebuild.
AI-powered response analysis is on our post-launch roadmap and is not yet available in the May 4, 2026 beta. Once shipped, FormAI's AI engine will analyze every response you collect and surface:
What this will enable once released:
Exports and integrations are on our post-launch roadmap and are not yet available in the May 4, 2026 beta. Once shipped, you'll be able to:
Use case: Validating product features and design decisions with structured, fast feedback
Why FormAI matters: Speed. A product manager generates a feedback survey from a one-sentence brief, refines the questions in the AI assistant, shares the link with 100 beta customers, and reviews the responses the same afternoon.
How it works in practice:
Use case: Reinforcing onboarding and compliance training with scored knowledge checks
Why FormAI matters: Faster authoring and measurable comprehension. Generate a 20-question compliance quiz from a prompt, brand it with the company theme, send the link to your cohort, and review scores and leaderboard placements once everyone has finished.
How it works in practice:
Live, host-led training sessions — where the trainer drives the pace and the cohort follows in real time — are on the Q2 2026 roadmap.
Use case: Branded surveys and scored quizzes for community engagement and lead capture
Why FormAI matters: Production-grade output without a designer. Describe the look you want; the AI theme generator produces a branded theme. Drop in a knowledge quiz or NPS survey; share the link across email and social.
How it works in practice:
Use case: Branded quizzes and surveys that reinforce learning and capture comprehension data
Why FormAI matters: Speed and quality. Generate the quiz from the lesson outline, refine wording with the AI assistant, and share a link or QR code with the class.
How it works in practice:
Live, in-class polling sessions — where the professor drives the pace and the class responds in real time — are on the Q2 2026 roadmap.
The FormAI survey is designed to move fast. Drag, drop, and customize questions to create professional surveys in minutes—not hours.
Supported survey question types:
Jump-start your first form: the AI form generator turns a one-sentence description ("a 10-question NPS survey for our SaaS customers") into a complete first draft in seconds, ready to refine. (A curated pre-built template gallery is on the Q2 2026 roadmap.)
The same builder produces scored quizzes that ship with the format-specific features knowledge checks need:
Today's quizzes are async — each participant takes the quiz on their own clock and the leaderboard fills in as scores arrive. Live host-led quizzes (Kahoot-style real-time hosting) ship in Q2 2026 as part of the Live Sessions experience type — see below.
Live sessions are the third FormAI experience type — an interactive, real-time format where a host drives the pace and participants engage from their own devices. The capability is on the Q2 2026 roadmap; the foundations (forms, scoring, themes, leaderboards) ship today, so anything you build now becomes host-ready when live launches.
What live sessions will include:
If you'd like to use FormAI for live, interactive events before Q2 ships, contact us — we're working with a small group of design partners to pilot the live experience.
FormAI includes a conversational AI assistant that helps you design, refine, and improve forms—without starting from scratch.
With the AI assistant, you can:
The AI works alongside you during creation and editing—helping you move faster while staying in control.
Every form ships with a fully customizable theme. Pick colors, fonts, and your logo — or describe the look you want in plain language and let the AI theme generator produce a matching theme for you. Save themes to your organization's theme library and reuse them across forms.
Analytics and AI reporting are on our post-launch roadmap and are not yet available in the May 4, 2026 beta. The screenshot below is an early preview of what's coming.

As responses come in:
We're actively developing new features based on beta feedback. Here's what's on the horizon:
Async quizzes with correct-answer scoring, per-question timing, and leaderboards already ship today. Q2 layers on the live, host-led experience and the first wave of conversational integrations.
What’s planned:
Why it matters:
You’ll be able to run the full “collect → engage → measure” loop in one platform—surveys for feedback, quizzes to validate understanding, and live sessions to drive participation—without switching tools or rebuilding content each time.
We’re significantly upgrading both the AI assistant and AI analytics to explain why people answered the way they did—and how teams should respond. The AI assistant expands beyond surveys to help users create and refine any type of form, including surveys, quizzes, and live sessions, using guided improvements and suggestions.
What’s planned:
Why it matters:
As FormAI expands into quizzes and live experiences, teams need deeper analysis and faster iteration. Advanced AI creation/editing plus deeper “why + what to do next” analytics helps teams build faster, understand outcomes clearly, and act with confidence across every format.
FormAI is coming to dedicated desktop and mobile apps so teams can build, monitor, and act on insights wherever they work—on laptops during planning and on phones/tablets during events, trainings, or field research.
What’s planned:
Why it matters:
Teams don’t always have reliable connectivity. Offline creation removes friction, keeps work moving, and makes FormAI practical for travel, on-site sessions, and low-connectivity environments.
FormAI is an all-in-one platform for AI-powered creation of surveys, quizzes, and live sessions. Instead of juggling multiple tools, you design your feedback mechanism once and let FormAI handle distribution and live hosting. AI-powered analysis of responses is on our post-launch roadmap.
Google Forms is free but basic: no AI generation, no live features, limited design options. Typeform is beautiful and feature-rich but costs $25-242/month and has no live session capability. FormAI combines the ease of Google Forms, the design of Typeform, and adds AI-powered form generation and refinement plus real-time interactivity in one platform.
Interactive, host-led Live Sessions are FormAI's third experience type and ship in Q2 2026 — that's where you'll get real-time hosting, screen sharing, host controls, live rankings, audience reactions, and synchronized participants on their own devices. Today you can already run async quizzes with scoring, per-question timing, and a leaderboard, share them via link or QR code, and review the leaderboard once participants have submitted — a strong fit for asynchronous onboarding, training reinforcement, and lead-capture quizzes. If you need live hosting before Q2, we're piloting with a small group of design partners — reach out and we'll see if your use case fits.
AI analysis is on FormAI's post-launch roadmap and is not available in the May 4, 2026 beta. Once shipped, FormAI's AI engine will automatically summarize text responses, extract themes, detect sentiment, identify outliers, and suggest follow-up questions—working on open-ended feedback instantly, with no manual coding or analysis required. At launch, the AI assistant focuses on form generation and question refinement (clarity, bias detection, tone).
We're still finalizing pricing for general availability, but our beta is free. We're committed to keeping entry-level plans affordable for small teams while offering scalable pricing for enterprises.
Yes. FormAI encrypts data in transit and at rest, complies with GDPR and CCPA, and never sells your data. Enterprise customers can request additional certifications (SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.).
Not yet—integrations are on our post-launch roadmap and are not available in the May 4, 2026 beta. Slack, Zapier, and webhook support, along with direct connectors to Salesforce, HubSpot, and analytics platforms, are planned as part of our Q2 2026 roadmap.
Most users create their first form in 5-10 minutes using a template. More complex surveys (with branching logic and 20+ questions) might take 20-30 minutes, but FormAI's drag-and-drop builder is significantly faster than traditional survey software.
No. FormAI is designed for non-technical users. The builder uses a visual, drag-and-drop interface. No coding required.
Your data stays in FormAI indefinitely unless you delete it. You can re-run the same form/quiz and view historical responses inside FormAI. Trend comparison and data export are on our post-launch roadmap and coming soon.
Yes. Every form ships with a fully customizable theme — colors, fonts, logos, and branding — so it can match your website or company style. If you'd rather not pick by hand, describe the look in plain language and the AI theme generator will produce a matching theme for you. Saved themes go into your organization's theme library and are reusable across forms.
FormAI is built around three experience types — all from the same builder:
You use the same builder for all three — switch scoring, timing, and hosting mode rather than rebuilding the form.
FormAI is built for teams who want to move faster. Whether you're validating a product idea, training your workforce, or engaging a community, FormAI brings everything together into one workflow.
We're onboarding beta participants now and want your feedback to shape the product. Early feedback directly influences our roadmap, and the first 100 paying members lock in 30% off Pro or Business for three years through our FOUNDING_100 offer.
The cost of fragmented feedback workflows isn't just in tool subscriptions. It's in the time your team spends switching between platforms, manually moving data, and waiting days to understand what you've learned.
FormAI eliminates that waste. One platform. One workflow. One source of truth.
Start building, engaging, learning and playing with FormAI. Join the beta today. Our Free plan is permanent — unlimited forms, unlimited responses, no credit card required.
